Personally I find that to be a very disturbing outcome. That isn’t what happened to Xu Xiaodong but then again he didn’t even criticize his country in a meaningful way before the government began exploding his life. I call china like I see it, good and bad. They have a massive freaky police state. I do think sending cops extrajudicially is better than sending bombs extrajudicially but one hopes the standard is higher than a limbo bar in hell.
