    I know it’s classic media, but I don’t understand how you can write such a puff piece about a developer after 15 years of missing targets.

      Man, I kickstarted this game, I bought a ship early on as well, haven’t installed it and played in years, Kinda wanna login just to see the clusterfuck

        Same. Got in on the $40 ship/package.

        Played some death match years ago in low/no grav and that was pretty cool.

        Just get the ick when thinking about how awful their monetization is.

    Star Citizen has been in development has been in development for roughly 15 years and has raked in over $1 billion from fans to help fund the development.

    …some are starting to question if the team is capable of achieving its goals.

    1. There are clearly a lot of people who would like to buy a good space opera video game with ship-to-ship combat.

    2. Fans are vastly worse than publishers about being able to make an objective call about cutting their losses on projects that have gone off the rails. A publisher would have cancelled the game a long time ago.
