I’ve been pretty excited about this one for while. It’s a modular phone built from the ground up for linux with their own ui. They are still working on lte though.
I initially funded the kickstarter only to cancel my pledge before it ended. Nonetheless I intend to get one of these once they’ve been released, if only to tinker with and see what it can do. If it’s able to function reliably as a phone (and hopefully a LoRa device as well, ideally at the same time) I’ll make the switch. Regardless it seems like a nifty lil pocket computer that has a lot of potential. Hopefully it avoids the pitfalls of earlier attempts at modular handheld devices and effectively utilizes the open pin connections and 3d-print tech of today. I suppose we shall have to wait and see. Definitely intriguing.
