If NAFTA is repealed, bourbon doesn’t have special status anymore and we can just use the name again. We lose “Canadian Whisky” but who gives a fuck about that. Tequila has the same protection. You can’t call your agave liquor “tequila” outside of México unless NAFTA goes.
