I think most of lemmy.today is bad faith astroturfing.

This is not the first time !PapaSkwat@lemmy.today has preemptively banned me from a community I’m pretty sure I’ve never interacted with.

This is a warning for others. Do not assume posts on Lemmy.today are real or in good faith.

    If you think banning you from communities I run makes me a fascist, then I don’t know what to tell you. I respect you as a person, but it’s pretty clear to me that we have very different definitions of fascism, and we’re probably not going to agree on this. In my opinion, I’m a narcissistic ass, not a fascist. Big difference.

        This right here is an issue I have with you, and maybe explains your earlier bans that I handed out. I have never banned you for being anti-fascist. You just say shit like that about me, and I’m just not gonna be a part of that.

        There’s no Lemmy rule against having accounts on multiple instances. It’s actually made for having multiples. I actually recommend having more than one account for privacy and shit.

        I only have communities under this name though and have never encountered you anywhere else.

        No clue where you are, but I live in the US, and I have very fucking serious concerns about expanding government surveillance. Instances go down. Accounts get compromised or snooped on. Governments collect data. I don’t think anyone should put their entire online identity behind one username on one server. The government is totally fucking watching this platform and all the ones where people speak out.

        Fuck that shit, and I think anyone who exists on just one server is insane.

          I’m glad to know that you disagree with fascism.

          I do have my reasons for my opinion, but I am open minded and I know people change. However, I’m also cautious.

          I’ll be keeping tabs to see if your actions correlate with your statements.
