I finished Oshi No Ko s3 and now I’m sad because it will be some time before s4 releases. I’m not really into dramas, but enjoyed this one; is there anything else similar?

      Frieren

      Chainsaw Man

      The Apothecary Diaries

      Kaguya-sama

      Jujutsu Kaisen S2 and later

The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity

Bocchi the Rock - maps most closely to OnK S2. Little to no drama

      Re:Zero

      Dandadan

      Takopi’s Original Sin

I can second @Crank@ani.social’s recommendations of Journal with Witch, Mushoku Tensei and

      anime title

      Vinland Saga

      for Oshi no Ko vibes.

I find that the following dramas give off somewhat similar vibes too:

Ave Mujica (can be watched as a standalone season)

I strongly recommend watching MyGO!!!!! first. It establishes a lot of the context behind Ave Mujica.

In my opinion, it’s gonna be hard to find something close to OnK. It mixes some elements that are hard to find together in other works. The closest thing I can think of is Perfect Blue.

There are some other shows that come to my mind, but they only share similarities with some aspects of OnK, not all of them.

If you liked the insight into the entertainment industry, you might like Shirobako, or Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju if it was the performing arts that caught your attention.

If you liked the dramatic take on

      OnK S1E1

reliving your life, then ReLIFE might be to your liking.

If the main thing that caught your attention were realistic human interactions, then you might find some of these interesting, even though some of them are completely different thematically:

      If it was the

      general OnK spoiler

revenge plot that you liked, then there’s Vinland Saga and Gankutsuou, even though I personally didn’t like the latter.

I think the things I liked the most about OnK were how it focused on relationships between the characters and Aqua generally playing 4D chess. The showbiz theme was interesting, but I could take it or leave it. I’ll also say I was fortunate enough to go in more or less blind.

        plot spoiler

Ai’s murder and general revenge plot hooked me hard.

I’ve seen Mushoku Tensei and the following and enjoyed them, but I’ll check out the others:

        Vinland Saga

        Thank you.
