    I thought Nostr sounded interesting so I checked it out. Turns out it’s just crypto bros stroking each other over there. No thanks.

        I trust the federal reserve more than I trust cryptocurrency, and I don’t trust the federal reserve at all.

      It’s a federated protocol that uses public key cryptography to prove identity, so you don’t really have a “home server”. That also means there’s very little in the way of moderation.

          Spam, cryptobros and PDFs. But once you block them its halfway decent. I mean as an alternative its ok
