    yeye i know what you mean. the channel does go through the topics critically, it’s not a “ohno blabla whatever out of control” kinda thing. eengaging thumbnails and titles don’t mean sloppy scary stuff in this case. i believe in most of what they say because i see it happening myself in lil experiments i like running locally and because they really do present things… rationally. i think.

    in the body content i mentioned that this kinda post idea h been sitting on me for a while and… now is just the time that i have the free slot of a “daily post” so i made it. cuuuzz why not. i know lemmy hates anything ai, and i get it absolutely buuuut… whatever. peeps said “post what you want” and so i’m doing that.

    the cutsie / child-like action taking was inspired by rational animations btw, i just liked that bit and stole it.

      You do you maria, I can’t hate on you ever. I’ll just gently point out that distrusting generative AI is not a lemmy thing; it’s representative of the general public. By now the main optimistic demographics on the subject are the “AI experts” aka people whose careers depend on it.

        ye I know, its a general onion by now. aaaand I have the same onion. the effects of this stuff are massively largely worse than the benefits. the idea of mathematical optimizers in general can be pretty useful in medical areas but generative thing muuuuch less so >v<

        I don’t like how whenever i pop up with a not even all that pro-ai thing peeps assume im… some tech bro kinda person. im not aaaaaaa >o< im not selling a thing but am in the bubble and thus notice the progress being made and stuffs and what is corpo yap and whats actually a thing.,. even just reading papers.
