4th option, try and make the world a better place for everyone instead of focusing just on our own comforts.

Oh for sure. I just dont exactly know how. People always say volunteer at homeless shelters and such and maybe I should. Its kind of scary though. Ive never been able to be part of a community type thing.

Start out small. Care for your neighbors. Put out “for free” boxes with stuff you don’t need anymore. Look for clubs or groups that share your interests and try to engage with people. I’m struggling with this myself but every small step is going to add up eventually.

Good ideas. I do enjoy giving stuff away that can be used. Yeah, I have thought about clubs but I’m insanely busy with music performances etc I have no extra time for clubs at this time. I’d love to start a tech literacy privacy club to teach people.how to get away from big tech and use Foss/Linux etc, just not sure I’d even get 2 people for that.

There’s not really any one thing any one person can do to fix everything. Any act to make the world a better place is worthwhile, even if you never even see its effects.

Not where I live, in the heart of “one more lane bro” (and I’m not even a bike person. I live too far for it to be viable). Its disgusting the amount of development happening here while houses sit empty. Farms and forests and swampland flattened for gas stations and cardboard mcmansions. As if there weren’t more than enough of those already.

My family’s a lost cause, all maga assholes except a couple. Friends all have their own families and dont listen to anything I say. I just need to find more like minded people I guess. Hard to do it alone.
