lol whenever the national news covers wildfires in CA I get these texts. Like, guys I live in the Central Valley. It’s literally dozens of miles to the nearest place a wildfire could realistically even be possible.
I got called by two different family members that I have not spoken to in years for the wildfires up in Canada because I live close to Canada.
I was like, okay, it has not crossed over into the United States.
I am in no more danger than you are.
You fucking live in Ohio, you are in just as much danger from the Canadian wildfires as I am.
But are apparently in more danger if propaganda.
