I never really got into “roll your own character” games. I was never creative enough and would always get stuck on that. Probably why I never got into D&D.
i like to be able to customize my characters some and i really like goolocks in 5e. i am having so much trouble with will’s storyline in bg3. i’ve dipped in act 2 due to hey look a squirrel like 5 times now.
I have the opposite problem lol, I dont like playing geralt i rather play my own character like in skyrim

They could let us customize the MCs appearance like in Mass Effect. I just can’t get into a story where I’m playing as a symbol of hypermasculinity.
Eh I’m a guy who always play the female characters so that doesn’t help either lol
