    Right? Until people really live near the aggressive homeless they never appreciate how dangerous they can be. My guess is they mostly meet the professional “homeless” like you see in DC. Not the drug\booze addled mental ill ones you have in non tourist area’s like mine.

      People seem to think that acknowledging they exist is saying A) all homeless people are like that, and B) that those people don’t deserve help if they want it.

      The whole “it would only cost $X to end homelessness” annoys me because it’s not an issue you can solve by throwing money at it. The causes are super complex, not simply a lack of affordable housing.
