They are still labeling stuff, but even then it’s not always perfectly clear. Some things are “made in canada from domestic and imported ingredients”, some are “processed in Canada”, and others are full-on “product of Canada”.

But even with that, it’s still impossible to know who owns those factories.

I just go with Peter Gzowski’s saying “as Canadian as possible, under the circumstances”.
