    Saying the whole thing the first time softens your language. It’s a simple way of recognizing a person’s humanity and communicating that you have basic respect or sympathy. It makes it clear to the reader in a very compact and economical manner that you’re not on the attack or some kind of raging psycho who doesn’t ever even think about such things. If that does not apply, you’re welcome to ignore the advice.

      Most of the time you can glean all that from the content of what the person is saying.
