Molleindustria's satirical open world game Future? No Thanks! is still rated adults-only on Steam, hiding it from millions, despite the removal of a "sex quest"
From what I’ve heard through the grapevine, there’s a serious favoritism problem. If you have an in with a Valve employee or work on a project they approve of, getting assistance from them is easy. Everyone else gets a token response followed by radio silence, and if you’re working on something they don’t want to deal with (like the payment processor mess the OP stepped in) you get straight-up stonewalled.

The token response is automated.
What, you think theyre gonna hire … corpo social media numbers of content reviewers? Thousands to tens of thousands of people?
The whole company is like 300ish people.
Thats smaller than say… Bethesda.
They use bots, algos, analytic metrics, to evaluate the absurd amount of all kinds of content on Steam.
Small company Valve can’t possibly be asked to spend their insane profits on some proper support.
