I need to map network shares from my Synology NAS and also from a Win11 Pro desktop. There are just so many variations on how to do this. All I need to do is map drive letters to shares on startup so they are always available.

Well, containerization can mess with GPU acceleration if you want to use Immich’s auto-description-whatever-function. Also mind that docker runs as root, so don’t just spin up random containers from unknown sources.
Something I wasn’t aware of. In your opinion, would I see better performance just installing all these apps separately? That’s the way I was doing it on Windows (with the exception of Immich of course).
