After being shelved at Warner Bros. three years ago, the Looney Tunes legal comedy co-starring John Cena and Lana Condor is finally coming to theaters.

They already took the tax breaks on it for shelving it, they’d have to pay that back to release the movie

They could still sell it. The price would need to be worth it and the batgirl movie was written off for over twice what coyote was gong to be written off for.

If coyote does well enough it could convince someone to gather the funds but unlikely since coyote had a much larger out cry than batgirl.

It was so so good! Highly recommend seeing it in theaters. It has 2D animation for Bugs Bunny!

Wait no. Live action animation for that scene or just animation? We did live action animation for one project and it’s SO HARD. Fun tho

You can see in the trailer, I thought it was 3d animation. But they have 2d clips from the original cartoons.

I know nothing of the film, but wasn’t Coyote v Acme the title of a New Yorker satire article from the 80s?

The article was in 1990, but yes. The film’s closing credits mention it as the basis for the script.
