    That’s only true under capitalism where people are forced to work for the sake of working. Under socialism, automation should be celebrated as it frees up people from drudgery.

      Automation doesn’t automatically translate to more stable worker conditions under any system, but yes, socialism is better equiped to deal with automation than capitalism. That’s where I would agree.

        Not only is socialism better equipped to deal with automation, but automation is generally seen as the development path towards communism.
