The flawed logic is that this will raise a man’s “natural pheromone level”, making him not just more sexy but actually biologically irresistible to us women.

I don’t see where anyone brought up physiognomy. Are you saying I did? Look up the meaning of the idiom, it’s the exact diagonal opposite.
