In my head, I stupidly went “Milli is 10-3 so micro is 10-4.” Somehow completely skipping that “micro” means “million”. Regardless, the rest of the post is correct because I wasn’t using 5 grams as the basis for anything else.
Might want to check your math there. 500 x 90-110 millionths of a gram is not 5 grams.
