As much as I detest this pointless inter-generational conflict and dumb labels, if you start calling Gen X ‘Boomers’ don’t be surprised when you get pushback. If anything, Gen X has the biggest grudge against the baby boomers out of all. Those fuckers were our parents, and they sold us a lie.

& @almacca@aussie.zone you’re in c/196 you can be pissed at your parents, and accept language lives. There’s a reason my wife religiously says “get with the times boomer!”

If you’re not keep up with your kid’s dialect, diction, language, issues, concerns, politics, acts, and feelings, you’re not really interested in making changes your parents deceived you to make. Generational abuse stops with us. and if kids want to call us boomers, so be it. It’s their language, their future, their lives.

I just hope they can welcome me too in the wonders they’ll achieve. If not, so be it too. I did what I could with what I knew. A home in me they have.

Buddy, correct your language. Ableism is against community rules.
It’s one thing to deny language changes every generation, and another to call children that disengage in how you use words “morons.”

I want kids to have choice. If they want to use different meanings for words, that is their choice. If you think that is “moronic.” Do not interact with me. See my bio.
