Iceland’s foreign ministry said Tuesday it had summoned the U.S. ambassador after U.S. President Donald Trump posted a map that seemingly showed the island as part of the United States.
You’d think it’d be India. It’s actually fascinating how a nation of their size and population does such a good job of maintaining their own irrelevancy.
Starting with negative money, no assets, massive non native disease outbreaks, and a population boom. It’s not really that fascinating compared to other colonies it’s just what happens, North America got lucky by being separate and far away.
