Okay that’s actually funny advertisement.
Yeah this is one of the best digital marketing stunts I’ve ever seen.
If every company released random mods for games that are 15-20 years old, the world would be a better place.
“KALLAX STORAGEBORN”
The shelf companion is summoned by using a new Dragon Shout… “AYE-KEY-YAH.”
“Bafta-winning actor” instead of the fucking name.
Post a comment complaining about not giving the fucking name and then don’t give the fucking name. It’s Matt Berry, who won the BAFTA for Toast of London He’s also widely known from his role in What We Do In The Shadows and the IT Crowd
And from that Synthesizer commercial. His best work yet.
BAT!
FAAAATHEEEERRRRRR
Wha? I didn’t know the name at that time, I found out later and edited. I know who Matt Berry is, that’s why I’m baffled why they wouldn’t just name him.
I shudder to think wheee this leads
Love Matt Barry
Gross. Keep trademark trashvertisements out of our games.
My monster energy potion mod in Monster Hunter begs to differ.
Now I’m just picturing the whole snowy realm of the Nords littered with Cyberpunk-Style adverts everywhere. Like dragons have to fly around them and everything…

The only real difference between this type of advertising and running an ad on a website is that you can avoid the former extremely easily while actively having to block the latter if you take a single step out of federated territory. Besides, the game itself is already trademarked so yeah bit late for keeping that out.
And? The point is that it’s an ad, designed to manipulate people into thinking of ikea as being associated with fun and gaming, like it’s a fun person, and not a corporation. It’s a lie. Just because you aren’t forced to fully take part in something doesn’t make it somehow not malicious. You aren’t forced to buy a slave. Does that make it acceptable that someone sells them?
Calm down bud, it’s a mod. As much as I hate this myself, I’m quite happy it’s for people to install themselves if they want.
Ssdly, it might be the start of a new plague that’ll get pushed and normalized over the next 5 years…
Ah shit, am I about to reinstall Skyrim?
What the fuck.
