Damn that big art mode looks great, that single change is like 90% my reason to use decky.

That’s almost the entire reason I’m even using CSS Loader, holy shit

I ended up dropping CSS loader because it was one of the most common things to break with beta updates, but I’ve really missed that look. So it’s super exciting to be getting it back.

I just wanted to ask the other user about the compatibility breakage issue. It was breaking with every update of the Steam Beta and I had to rerun the installer for the plugins. I really like the plugin system, but this breakage is annoying.

Same! Seems like we might not need that extra CSS layer soon, although it’s nice for subtle changes like font, font color, and button colors.

Zero interest in big art mode, but the Proton stuff is actually nice! Same for the launch in desktop mode, even if I don’t use it.

The Big Art mode is not so much different from the regular Home screen. It just puts the “camera view” more up, so that only the games are seen in a list below (the same list you get in regular Home screen) and the bottom news are now out of the view. You have to click down to get there. I always wanted to have this, because it bugged me how cluttered the Home screen was. Feels more like how it looks on Playstation now (never used modern Playstation, just judging from images).

I’m just explaining this, because you may have misunderstood it from the description. I don’t know if there are other changes, this is just what I personally have noticed.
