I may be too charitable, but I imagine it has to do with how many people, such as colleagues we may have, can fall for this type of shit. We’re all able to be reactionary and give in to bs, some of us just have more knowledge and/or more empathy so we’re able to see through it much easier. So while DHH may not be redeemable, some dumbass on Twitter who defends DHH may still be redeemed, depending on the choices they make and how much harm they do or don’t do along the way.
