Specifically not looking for noun memorization tools, but more immersive adventure games where you can take your time understanding what’s said.

Yep, I’m aware of that search, but it didn’t produce solid results. That’s why I figured I’d ask the community here.
Skyrim has a very wonderful voice acting cast in multiple languages. It’s how went from not understanding German to understanding German.
100% recommend Skyrim. I think Cyberpunk also has full audio translations too, though I’ve yet to play it in anything but English.
You’re probably best off searching for your language, then seeing if subtitles are available, then seeing if scenes can be replayed. If it has all three, it’s a good primary source.
Not an adventure game, but it is a steam game to help with language learning. It is more in the pocket of memorization tho. Still, could be helpful to others trying to gameify their learning.
Not sure if you include typing as part of language learning, but I really enjoyed Epistory: Typing Chronicles. It won’t actually teach you English, but it will train you to type faster.
