I’ve used fedora in the past and enjoyed it. I’m just super basic and really love how cinnamon feels and looks. The other thing is I’m older now, and prefer to have a desktop that just works, or at least, keeps the same quirks it had last year, rather than having new quirks every update. I’ve been on the same install of mint for several years now because that.
For sure, this new update will likely be enough to get me to change my position on that if it works as I’m hoping it might.
