President Donald Trump says he has a deal with Denmark to bolster the U.S. military presence in Greenland. The announcement comes after months of threatening to take the island by force from the NATO ally.

The US has had this very presence since after WW2. I live in middle TN. Last night at a party one of the few loud MAGA left told me how we finally got Greenland and how he hates the price of gas but we can’t let Iran get a nuke. These people work on sound bites and this one worked for his lackeys.

Who knows, nobody knows whats in this «new agreement» but they already have free travel, multiple military bases as per « Defense of Greenland: Agreement Between the United States and the Kingdom of Denmark, April 27, 1951(1)« so its hard to tell.
There is a reason Denmark is keeping this quiet until after the vote. They are trying to keep their citizens from stopping the deal. Wells a deal is a deal. USA finally gets reputations for all the world wars it win for Europe!
Because they’re deliberately keeping its contents vague from the press. It makes Trump look good to his MAGA base, and allows Denmark and Greenland to draw a line under this whole mess.
