Never had much luck with USB-C earbuds. Do they not suck now?

I imagine the suckiness is relative to whether or not they use a cheap DAC to transmit the signal, though depending on when you last tried them even the bottom tier ones you might find in a cheap-o pair will probably perform decently enough.

Not earbuds, specifically, but I got a fairly cheap (I think it was ~$15) USB-C DAC to connect my phone to the 3.5mm jack in my car and the quality and volume of the audio is quite good without any extra power needed beyond whatever the phone provides.

In my opinion it is hard to beat the over ear design for ANC.

It is hard, but Apple did it. There’s exactly one over ear headphone that has better ANC than the Airpods pro 3rd gen and that is the wh1000xm6.

Would it be crazy to use these with my pc? I find over the ear headphones uncomfortable in long stretches.

Odd that the DPA acquired Bose. /s

Finally potentially good wired earphones with ANC.

Given that’s it’s an iem and a fairly bulky one at that, I imagine that’s a no.

I’m sure Darwin’s law will be in use with pedestrians oblivious to danger and drivers unaware of their surroundings adding to the statistics. But hey, what’s new.

3.5mm to nearly anything can be adapted.

They also have 3.5mm female clip on bluetooth adapters but they suck if the clip breaks.
