This is fine as long as it’s not that slimey super-suger-saturated cum cream that some places like to use. The Boston Cream is okay, but whenever that other shit is makes me want to gag with with disgustingly sweet and slimey it is.
Edit: I was waiting for someone to rush in with some defense of this saying that they love it. The lack of objection to this only reinforces my confusion on who that shit is meant for.
Everything fondant is used for would be better served by using modeling chocolate. Harder to work with, but at least it also tastes good. Hell, regular ol’ sugar+water frosting is better tasting.
Whipped cream is alright if you’re literally sending it out within the minute it was filled, but that’s not how bakeries work. At least, not bakeries I could afford
