What self-checkouts have you been to? Typically there’s a bunch of people fumbling through trying to get them to work. They don’t know where barcodes are, if it’s unmarked food they spend so much time trying to figure out how to search for it.
People who don’t understand self-checkouts are the worst part.
I’ve only been using self checkouts since I started grocery shopping by myself and I’m nearly 30 so that’s quite a few different stores at this point.
Yes you do get some retards but that is usually countered by the increased number of self checkout stations. Compare this to a traditional cashier where one retard will slow down the process for everyone.
