Probably one of my favorite comeback flicks. Among my friends at the time, Kevin Bacon was a household name after Tremors —and most of us looked up his earlier stuff, too.
In fact, if it weren’t for that classic, I don’t imagine Bacon’s career would’ve survived long enough to be greenlit for the lore arc in Guardians. Hell, I’m gonna watch it tonight. Thanks! 🤘🏼
Tremors, and to a smaller degree Twister, are cemented in my childhood. Watching tremors now, it kind of surprises me that it was my favorite movie when I was 6… I think maybe it was in the perfect spot between scary and silly cause I thought it was the coolest thing.
And now that I’m thinking about it, I was into jaws and Godzilla around the same time. Just now realizing I might like monster movies lmao. They just don’t make them like they used to!
I really liked him in Twisters. That movie actually subverted a lot of my expectations, but I really had no idea what to expect going into it.
