I think it’s just a generic isolated crew of some sort. It reminds me a little of The Thing, but I think it’s just playing off of the general movie trope.
Meh, there are a lot more sci-fi movies that have ships with some kind of artificial gravity than don’t, especially since it saves a large, expensive production headache. I don’t feel it needs to be referencing a specific title.
