Messaging matters. The last part encourages United States residences to give up, or join the fascists (“I like my country, so fascists must be great!”). One can just be like “here are ten roots of fascism, try to work with your friends and neighbors to stop doing those”.
What does this mean? Why would a minority coddle a majority person?
Because they expect us to worship them for tolerating us. The amount of times I’ve seen a disagreement ending with say ‘I was going to support gay rights, but now I won’t because you were mean to me’ is huge.
I am sorry you had this experience. It is fairly common.
There is a place for gradually opening people’s eyes to a situation. If one goes too hard too fast, then they will reject any truth presented to them. (It is frustrating that the process starts over for each individual.)

If you give up because someone says your country is built on white supremacism you were never serious about fighting it in the first place.
This is the same as the people who have a minority not coddle them and turn around to say they’re no longer going to support their right to existence.
Yeah. I just think most people are no where near serious about fighting it. To effectively fight it, the unserious people need to help.

It’s never too late to do the right thing
