Do people actually pronounce it “BIO-pic” btw? I always say “bi-OP-ic”.
People started pronouncing it bio-pic in the last decade or so. I dunno where it started but it spread quick.
It’s a contraction of Biography Picture.
Biography is often shortened to Bio. As in “fill in the Bio on your account profile.”
Picture is often shortened to Pic. As in “I’ll send you a Pic, it’s easer than explaining.”
So yah. It’s Bio-Pic. Always has benyeah like bio-graffy and bio-loogy
Those are suffixes, not compound words. Entirely different.
Ography and Ology aren’t words themselves, only modifiers.no but graphy and logy are

I’ve been a Weird Al fan for a long time. I loved it almost as much as UHF.
Been a Weird Al fan pretty much my whole life, so take that into consideration when I say I loved the movie and learned a lot about his life. I had no idea he was so involved with Madonna.
It was absolutely wonderful, but I think the trailer oversold it a bit.
It was… interesting. Unique at least.
I was disappointed. Maybe my expectations were too high, I like his music a lot.
