Should I put any effort at all into finding out what kind of toys my children like? No I’ll just ask a glorified autocomplete to do the equivalent of typing “top 5 Star Wars Lego sets” into google and buying everything from first Reddit thread it spits out.

You just know his assistant reminds him what their names are all the time.

Think it might just be easier to go with numbers.

#8 has a birthday coming up.

          #9 isn’t hateful enough, won’t make a good republican.

          Etc.

Put product into duckduckgo. Look for low price.

Noooo, you don’t get it bro. This is the future. Use your cromium gamimg browser that your favourite youtuber sold you. Give the pedophile your credit card and hope for the best. Don’t live behind a rock.

But somehow i’m the paranoid idiot

I mean, would be neat to make something like “I want to fly there, so give me options, check also for rental cars and vacation homes with this-and-those constraints, give me a list and prices” and have it have a go on it. That would really make family vacation easier if I could trust the results.

But, lo and behold, I cannot trust the results at all, so it keeps being a fantasy (which destroys the world in the meantime, like, ecologically and economically). Then again: after destroying everything, no need for family vacation planning, so, yeah?

Yeah this would actually be fucking awesome but merchants are either lying or terrible at listing products in a way that’s actually useful for searching them or the results are weighted by whoever’s giving the search engine money.

I was looking for a desk mat on Amazon a while back and their ai couldn’t even find one with the dimensions I wanted. I had to scroll through dozens of them and find it myself. That should be an easy one, what other properties is a desk mat going to have besides it’s dimensions, what it’s made out of, and what color/picture is it? But no, lets make this take half an hour.
