I don’t know if you’re the idiot you think you are. You didn’t do anything, which rationalised the trust and why they let you in that circle in the first place. That’s a pretty decent level of trust very few men get to.
I would say I’m oblivious at the least. Working in retail I made quite a few female friends, understandably my girlfriend at the time didn’t like that even though I was trying to find friends for her to hang out with after moving to a new place since I could just talk to my friend group on teamspeak and I didn’t want her to feel lonely. I learned the hard way they liked me basically.
