Apparently pre-rinsing confuses the dishwasher or something. Not doing it leaves me with residue all over the other dishes though 🤷

He’s poking fun at our anemic half phase electrical system. In places with 220/240V electrical is the norm, electrical heating elements are more powerful so there’s no need to get the water warm using the kitchen tap before running the dishwasher.
