I mean, there’s clearly a demand for it since the prices have gotten through the roof. Should I really purchase one or is it pointless and a waste of money. What’s the reason behind its sudden resurgence despite it being an “old” console as the Switch lineup has replaced it? Does it have to do with physical game ownership?

      So, I’m not active in that community, but from what I’ve read you can easily mod literally any of them. Just pick one you like or maybe one you have a good deal for.

      I have a “new xl” 3ds and have it softmodded with loads of Roms. You need a pc and a card reader. Some roms I had to convert to the right format but once you get going it was easy enough. I just never play it but thought about playing some while riding the bus to work/home.

      New 3DS line is the last model that came out and 3D effect works well on it compared to others.

      I picked up the New 3DS LL which is the Japanese version, and after jailbreaking it changed the language to english.
