I like that discs aren’t tied to an online account, so anyone in possession of it can use it to play the game. The company can’t take away access like they can banning your online account.

What happened for me was the regular method stopped working so I was using the web scraping method for a few weeks, but then that stopped working completely. Does old.reddit still work for you on your internet?
That was when the web scraping method stopped working for me on Stealth.

I love my Nintendo 3DS and DSI. Both jailbroken and playing games on it versus emulating it has been a blast. And games are pretty unique because of the dual screen and stylus, so been the best console I’ve had by far.
This year I played through Hotel Dusk, Okamiden, and Trauma center on my DSI. And been playing through Super Mario 3D land with 3D effect. 3D effect from what I read works best on the last 3DS model since the eye tracking is better.

I have RES too. Maybe cookie? I do have my browser delete cookies on exit.

I think it is more that whether benevolent or malevolent there are more decisions that align with what PC gamers want compared to other gaming companies.
Like push for Linux and trying to make it more accessible to the average user. Compared to where Linux was when the first Steam Machine came out and how much more user friendly it became after the Steam Deck is one area. Still lot of work to do, but leaving Microsoft behind isn’t as daunting as it used to be for gamers.
With other consoles the stands outs are more the exclusives.
But, there are more clashing of ideas like paid online, requiring locked down hardware, and inability to install whatever you want on consoles. Console ecosystem has been much more confrontational just because of being a closed ecosystem for those that want a more open one.

Here’s a reddit link of other reddit people talking getting login prompt if they try to use old.reddit.

I’ve only bought discs for my consoles. But, last Sony console I had was PS4. Reason was because I switched to PC, but I only felt comfortable with digital on PC due to open hardware and OS. As opposed to locked hardware of consoles. I can’t see myself buying digital for consoles.

I used to do old.reddit/RES and list of subs I wanted to follow to lurk, but then reddit killed off old.reddit for people who aren’t logged in this week.
And the regular reddit interface looks so ugly with how little content it shows in comparison. Switched to a redlib instance and set UI to wide and compact, but still miss RES with old.reddit. But, not enough to login with an account to use reddit.
On Android I was using Stealth just to get feed of subs I’m interested in, but it is dead now because it relied on old.reddit to retrieve stuff. And it hasn’t been updated to work with redlib. So I’ve just been using redlib in browser.
I’m happy to see titles that were console only becoming available on PC. Even if revoked it opens a path to still being playable on PC if game gets cracked, but initial hurdle is coming to PC in the first place.

Price sucks, but if it sells enough it gives a better baseline than the Deck for devs to target. And hopefully leads to improvements in anticheat support with some games still refusing to provide it.

I thought DLSS tried to retain the original look to make it look better at lower resolutions as opposed to changing the visuals like it is being run through a “beauty” filter.

The big AI advocates keep trying to hide that AI is being used instead of standing proudly behind it to show people how much better they believe it to be than human only output.
Why do they try to hide it like they are ashamed instead of standing behind their work to win people over to the supremacy of AI?
Web scraping relies on old.reddit. Pops up when you select it.
