That’s sad. I always kinda hoped that they’d regain some footing instead of constantly being hobbled by brain dead executives. Instead they’re losing their jobs so some exec can get a bonus.
First being sold to EA enshittification which then sold itself to Saudi homophobic misogynistic bigots. What could’ve possibly gone wrong?
Never give EA money. They’ll just use it to kill another beloved studio.
That being said, Bioware was already dead the instant they sold to EA. I wept for them years ago. There’s no sadness in seeing a zombie finally get buried.
Mass Effect being gone doesn’t mean we won’t see more alien filled AAA games. I’m hopeful for the future
