I am not a fan of MOBAs. I tried playing it, but it requires a lot of knowledge just to understand what you’re doing. Also because it’s free to play people are jerks rather than helpful.
It’s weird, I’ve never been a fan of MOBAs at all, but there’s something that clicked with Deadlock for me, but I get that it’s not for everyone. Further, from mine and my friend’s experiences, people in Deadlock have actually been quite gracious! You get your occasional dickhead that says stupid shit sometimes, but generally people are pretty chill, and understanding if you’re new.
Else: It’s still alpha and is only really public because some journalists leaked it’s existence. Basically letting players ask for an invite to be guinea pigs.
Thanks for the info. I literally learned about this game from this thread, but apparently it’s been in a closed early access for a few years now; I guess I’m just one of today’s lucky 10,000.

Too much CC in it. It has the age old problem of characters that are fun to play, but absolute dogshit to play against.
