Years ago we tried to install a bidet upgrade kit in our apartment. Unfortunately the water line to the toilet is corroded in place and can’t be disconnected without having maintenance shut off the water supply to the entire apartment and replacing the valve and line, all the threaded parts…

We ended up just returning the bidet for a refund. :(
