It’s not like US elections weren’t rigged by massive campaign spending before. This is literally how the system is set up and worked for decades before. Musk just did it “right” by buying the biggest media platform of the time. People literally laughed at the massive financial loss he made with Twitter… then the government changed. People were always uninformed and greed rules the world since at least ten centuries. We literally had leaded gasoline and chemicals killing the ozone layer.
But we also got MAD figured out - probably the biggest achievement in human existence. And we banned leaded gasoline and the ozone layer killer chemicals. We solved acid rain too.
I think, our species is actually progressing positively right now - even though it may not always look like that.
