transcription: the “(character) is homophobic?” trend cracks me up because when i was 15 i tried to tell my mom i was lesbian by saying “mom… i dont like guys…” and she just said “AMEN” assuming i was just being misandrist and did and illegal u-turn to get to a tamale shop before i could reply

I’m confused are you saying the idea of misandry was invented by a bunch of men in charge, or are you saying a bunch of men in charge of the world convinced women to be dicks to men in response to women wanting equal rights?
Cause like, it’s not the wanting equal rights that anyone sees as an attack on men. That’s a strawman. It’s the “haha this is why men die young” or “I won’t promote any men to manager because I don’t trust men with money” or “You don’t deserve any help, you’re a man, everything’s easier for you” that men feel are an attack on men.
You know how there are a whole shitload of Israelis who took antisemitism and used it to think the whole world hates them and act like pretentious assholes and accuse everyone who criticizes them of being antisemitic? They’re not the only ones that followed that train of thought.
That’s an extremely naive thing to say.
Certainly women aren’t rightfully pissed off on their own at the men in charge of the world for refusing to grant us equal rights, no way no how /s
What the fuck is this framing?
Yeah, being called sexist is equivalent to getting raped and murdered to these people.
Women aren’t the problem here. There is no attack on men aside from some feminists being mean to you and your feelings getting hurt (which I support happening).
