If you are serious and drug free, willing to move to/ rotate to North Dakota or Texas, (colorado, Pennsylvania, and Wyoming also, but easiest to hire on in ND/TX.) the oil industry offers very good placeholder jobs, work 80-100 hours a week. Frac and Flowback are good entry point and not too hard (not easy, but not insane.) If you dont mind working hard, Wireline or Workover. Drilling is good but generally fewer spots open outside of the “in the know.” If you dont want to move, look into local house framing companies.
If you cant do physical labor, look into customer support roles. Many rental companies have phone/computer based support. Banking roles are also good for similar reasons.
Idk why this is in shitpost, I’m probably missing a joke, but w/e - happy to offer a few usable suggestions.
