When these Chinese teenagers killed that village dog and its puppies, I called to return the favour, banned. Said Russia is a blight on the world, banned. Called to torch ICE buildings and actually show some dissent in the US, banned. Reedit is such a pussy platform.
Well, you’re literally making a call to violence. Can you blame them for removing and banning illegal content? If the government wanted to they could literally prosecute you or Reddit (if they wouldn’t remove it) for it. And no this is not some dictatorial stuff, calls to violence being prohibited are necessary in a democratic country.
Reddit is not going to break any laws to save your ass.
Making a call to violence is saying anything in public that creates an atmosphere where violence is deemed acceptable. That’s the law and that’s illegal. It is much less severe than a direct or indirect threat, but still punishable.

I can blame them. There’s 0 practical ways for that Redditor to follow through on their threats so it’s hyperbolic not threatening
Calling to violence ≠ threatening
