There’s nothing disingenuous about what I said.

Why should politicians and political parties be allowed to shrug off their egregious mistakes?

We shouldn’t let following generations be fed a sanitized fantasy of what we witnessed and live through. We should all remember why Bernie Sanders was cheated out of his shot at leading US and the West to a better future. Or all the other stuff like a literal genocide.

The establishment Dems shouldn’t be allowed to hide behind token gestures. I appreciate the fact that they’re inclusive and got rid of the discriminatory rules prohibiting lgbt+ in the armed forces. But we also shouldn’t forget or overlook the forever-wars and needles conflicts they’re thrown into for corporate interests and profits.

I fail to see why you think that’s disingenuous.

I think that the system in 'Murica is fucked and needs to be totally changed, but that requires the entirity of every single institution to be torn down and built again

Barring some sort of cataclysmic event, that ain’t happening

So your pissing and moaning will do nothing more than persuading people already inclined to do nothing to not get off their arses and vote against the Republicans

Why would you take that approach?

Revolution doesn’t require cataclysm, it requires a cohesive socialist party, high levels of class consciousness among the working class, and a crisis within the capitalist system, especially within the cohesion of the ruling class. The first two are directly actionable, you can join an org and do your best to spread socialist sentiment and educate others on socialist theory and practice. The last part is out of our direct control, but is made inevitable by the lack of sustainability of capitalism.
