honestly, giving everything up at once was pretty easy? soymilk took a few weeks to get used to, but outside that adjustment i just added more beans to stuff. Worth at least trying before compromising on slaughter.
For you it was easy, which doesn’t have any bearing whatsoever on how easy it will be for any other person. What’s worth trying is anything which reduces the amount of suffering in the world, which is not ‘compromise’, it’s a positive step. One burger a year is an improvement and even if that’s all you can manage it’s better than nothing.
and for all the other people who will find it easy, it’s important to still have a message dissenting the idea that it’s always difficult. I’m saying that going all out and finding if you even need to compromise is better than assuming from the start that a compromise is your only viable option.

No assumptions made here, just the observation that a positive step is not a compromise.
