What is the point of a 1900€ phone? What is the target audience? How is it better than a 500€ phone?

Questions more towards Motorola than Graphene, but I doubt the Graphene foundation went into the partnership without knowing what kinds of specific phones would be covered.

      What is the target audience?

At these prices, the Pedophile Elite. Heck, the Trump Phone was half this price!

Yes, but the Trump phone was a 4 or 5 year old HTC budget device, this one is a current flagship.

It could targetting the customers of EncroChat.

The discerning drug dealers who want a premium phone.

Look out for rap lyrics mentioning “moto sig 27” in place of glocks and ak47s. 😜

In general, flagships get longer software support, much faster processors, sometimes more RAM and storage and usually better cameras.

In particular, this one seems to have a ridiculous camera setup with 200MP (remains to be seen if it’s actually great or just an inflated amount of pixels) and a 7000 mAh battery compared to e.g pixel 11 pro xl’s 5115.

And you can choose between 12 or 16 gigs of RAM. RAM is very expensive right now. Also promising a ridiculously bright screen so maybe this one will be useable outdoors?

Phones like these have features that power users love like headphone jack, expandable storage, removable battery, and repairability improvements. They also have really good software support too and a lot of OS options, such as both mainline Linux support and Android. And on top of that, a 10+ year support lifetime so you can really get the most out of your hardware. It might be $1000+ USD more expensive than the alternatives, but the freedom, added functionality, and longevity it gives you makes it really worth it!

Phones like what? The phone in question here (signature 27) has none of those features. Sounds like you might be referring to something like the fairphone, but even that dropped the headphone jack.

Ironically, the only phones Motorola kept the sd card and headphone jack on are their low end g series, currently selling for around $400.

I think you misunderstood my post lol, the fact that the signature 27 has none of those features is the point
